## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS TRYING TO AVOID A HELICOPTER IN THE PATTERN WHEN HE NOTICED HIS ENGINE WAS NOT RESPONDING , ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ GOT A BIT SLOW, THE STALL WARNING ALERTED HIM TO KEEP FLYING UNTIL THE PLANE WAS STOPPED, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ RAN HIS EMERGENCY CK LIST AND SAID THE ENGINE FINALLY RESPONDED WHILE HE WAS IN THE LANDING FLARE. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ SAID THE LANDING WAS ASSURED SO HE DID NOT WANT TO TRY TO CONTINUE HIS FLIGHT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
