THE PLT RPTD THAT THE ACFT EXPERIENCED A WIND GUST FROM THE RIGHT SIDE A FEW SECONDS AFTER TOUCHDOWN ON RWY 32. THE GUST LIFTED THE TAIL, AND HE APPLIED POWER AND RIGHT RUDDER IN AN ATTEMPT TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE ACFT. HE STATED THAT HE DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUCH ACFT.NOAA NCDC CLIMATE DATA FOR FPR ON 3/7/2011 INDICATES THAT WIND CONDITIONS AROUND THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT WERE FROM 010 DEG AT 9 MPH, WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTS TO 17 MPH.POST-INCIDENT INSPECTION OF THE ACFT REVEALED DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER TIPS AND THE LEFT WING TIP FAIRING INDICATIVE OF CONTACT WITH THE PAVED RWY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
