## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FINAL APPROACH TO RUNWAY 36 AT AUO, THE INSTRUCTOR PILOT LOWERED THE LANDING GEAR FOR TOUCHDOWN AND RECEIVED TWO DOWN AND LOCKED GEAR INDICATIONS, WITH A RED UNSAFE INDICATION FOR THE RIGHT GEAR. PILOT RECYCLED GEAR WITH A NORMAL RETRACTION. PILOT ATTEMPTED TO EXTEND THE GEAR AGAIN WITH THE SAME TWO GREEN AND ONE RED INDICATION. PILOT STATED HE WENT BY THE EMERGENCY CHECKLIST AND ATTEMPTED AN EMERGENCY EXTENSION, WITH RESULTS OF TWO GREEN AND ONE RED INDICATION. PILOT ATTEMPTED NORMAL EXTENSION ONCE MORE, THIS TIME HE RECEIVED THREE DOWN AND LOCKED GREEN INDICATIONS. PILOT PERFORMED LOW PASS, AS PERSONNEL ON GROUND, INFORMED THEM THAT ALL THREE LANDING GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN AND LOCKED. PILOT MADE UNEVENTFUL LANDING AND ON ROLL OUT PILOT STATED THAT AFTER ABOUT 300 FEET, THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO PULL TO RIGHT AND GEAR COLLAPSED. PILOT AND STUDENT EGRESSED AIRCRAFT UNINJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
