## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MARCH 19TH, 2011 N86GX A LIGHT SPORT REMOS GX AIRCRAFT TAXIED FROM A RAMP PARKING AREA, LOCATED AT MID-FIELD ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE ARLINGTON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, ARLINGTON, WA. AS N86GX APPROACHED ALPHA TAXIWAY, THE PILOT IN COMMAND STOPPED SHORT OF THE TAXIWAY AND LOOKED TO HER RIGHT AND LEFT BEFORE PROCEEDING INTO TAXIWAY ALPHA WITH A RIGHT TURN (NORTHBOUND). SHORTLY AFTER ENTERING THE TAXIWAY AND JOINING THE CENTERLINE NORTHBOUND, THE AIRCRAFT WAS STRUCK BY ANOTHER AIRCRAFT, N11NL A LONG EZ. N11NL'S RIGHT VERTICAL STABILIZER HAD IMPACTED N86GX'S LEFT AILERON, SLIGHTLY OUTBOARD OF THE MID POINT. N11NL CONTINUED TO PUSH N86GX FURTHER AND SLIGHTLY SIDEWAYS OFF THE TAXIWAY CENTERLINE. N11NL'S RIGHT CANARD AND ELEVATOR SURFACE CONTINUED TO SWING INTO THE PROPELLER OF N86GX CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE CANARD AND FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACE. N86GX'S ENGINE AND PROPELLER AND ENGINE SUSTAINED DAMAGE DURING THE COLLISION.

## NTSB investigation

None matched to this report by aircraft and date. Search the NTSB's own records: https://data.ntsb.gov/carol-main-public/basic-search

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
