## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

OWNER OF N850WD STATES THAT HIS TBM-850 AIRCRAFT WAS PARKED ON THE RAMP AT MIAMI EXECUTIVE AVIATION ON 4/10/2011 AND WAS HIT THAT DAY BY N77AR A BE-58 BARON. HE STATES THAT THE PILOT OF THE BARON STOPPED TO CHECK FOR DAMAGE TO HIS WING TIP THEN DEPARTED WITHOUT REPORTING THE DAMAGE. THE INCIDENT WAS CAPTURED ON AIRPORT SURVEILLANCE VIDEO. THE TBM-850 WAS INSPECTED BY SOCATA NORTH AMERICA AND THE FOLLOWING FINDINGS WERE IDENTIFIED: DAMAGE TO PROPELLER SPINNER AND PROP BULKHEAD.NO DAMAGE TO PROPELLER OR ENGINE. THE ENGINE WAS REMOVED AND IS BEING SENT TO PRATT & WHITNEY FOR THE INSPECTION OF THE HOT SECTION AND REPLACEMENT OF THE NO5 & NO6 ENGINE PROPELLER SHAFT BEARINGS PER PROPELLER STRIKE RECOMMENDATION FROM PRATT & WHITNEY

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
