## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT IN COMMAND (PIC) WAS PERFORMING STUDENT PILOT TRAINING. AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT, THE STUDENT HAD CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT. WHILE PRACTICING TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS AT CHICKASHA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (CHK), OK A STUDENT IN A PASSENGER SEAT OBSERVED THE RIGHT AILERON HAD COME LOOSE FROM THE RIGHT WING. THE STUDENT INFORMED THE PIC WHO TOOK CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. PIC, STUDENT PILOT AND TWO OBSERVING STUDENTS PEFORMED A PREFLIGHT INSPECTION; AILERON APPEARED TO BE NORMAL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
