## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER FLYING IN THE FRONT SEAT FROM ILM TO SOUTHPORT, NC (DEPARTED ILM AT ABOUT 3:30 PM LOCAL TIME) AND DOING ONE FULL STOP LANDING, WE FLEW TO STAG AIRPARK AND PERFORMED A FULL STOP LANDING. AFTER ABOUT 45 MINUTES WE DEPARTED STAG AIRPARK ON EAST ORIENTED RUNWAY WITHMINIMAL HEADWIND. I FLEW THE AIRCRAFT FROM THE BACK SEAT. THE RUNWAY WAS IN GOOD, DRY CONDITION AND TAKEOFF WAS NOT EVENTFUL. AFTER FLYING AROUND FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES I SET UP FOR A LANDING TO THE EAST USING LEFT TRAFFIC. FULL FLAPS WERE EMPLOYED ON SHORT FINAL, AIRSPEED WAS 65 MPH. ALTITUDE WAS GOOD ON SHORT FINAL AND A ROUNDOUT AND FLAIR INITIATED.THE AIRPLANE SETTLED FAIRLY BRISKLY TO THE SURFACE AND THEN TUMBLED OVER. MY PASSENGER AND I EXITED WITHOUT DIFFICULTY AND THE AIRPLANE FUEL CUT-OFF WAS MOVED TO OFF.THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ABOUT 1500 FEET DOWN THE RUN WAY AND IT APPEARS THAT THE PILOT LANDED WITH THE BRAKES APPLIED. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE HAD NEVER FLOWN FROM THE BACK SEAT. INSPECTION OF THE BRAKES AND NO APPRANT PROBLEMS NOTED.
