## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT DEPARTED SACRAMENTO EXECUTIVE AIRPORT FOR A FLIGHT WHAT HE CALLED "TO EXERCISE THE AIRCRAFT". AFTER SELECTING THE GEAR HANDLE IN THE UP POSITION THE GEAR INDICATION SHOWED THAT THE GEAR DID NOT RETRACT FULLY. HE ELECTED TO EXTEND THE GEAR AND MAKE A FLY BY THE CONTROL TOWER FOR VERIFICATION. THE TOWER INDICATED TO THE PILOT THAT THE GEAR APPEARS TO BE DOWN. THE PILOT LANDED ON RUNWAY 20 AND EXITED THE RUNWAY ON TAXIWAY ALPHA. WHEN HE CAME TO A STOP HE REPORTED TO THE TOWER THAT THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR FOLDED FIRST, THEN THE NOSE GEAR FOLLOWED BY THE LEFT MAIN GEAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
