## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LAND ON RUNWAY 03 THE PILOT INITIATED A GO-AROUND NEAR THE END OF THE RUNWAY. THE FLAPS REMAINED FULLY EXTENDED AND THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED, THEN VEERED TO THE LEFT NEAR THE RUNWAY END INTO THE GRASS. THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED PAST THE RUNWAY END INTO A BOG AND CAME TO REST INVERTED. A QUARTERLY LEFT CROSSWIND EXISTED DURING THE APPROACH AND ATTEMPTED LANDING.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA11CA262](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA11CA262), Apr 24, 2011: Cessna U206G (N304EB), Stow, MA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's inadequate compensation for the crosswind condition and his failure to maintain directional control during landing.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
