## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 12, 2010, 14:45 CDT N224RG WAS ATTEMPTING TO LAND AT GUYMON, OK (KGUY) ON RUNWAY 36. AS THE AIRCRAFT FLARED, A GUST OF WIND PUSHED THE AIRCRAFT OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE RIGHT GEAR DOOR STRUCK THE FIRST TAXIWAY DIRECTIONAL SIGN. THEN AS THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO SETTLE BACK TO THE GROUND IT HIT THE SECOND TAXIWAY SIGN. THE AIRCRAFT THEN PROCEEDED IN A NORTHERLY DIRECTION. IT CAME BACK ACROSS RUNWAY 36, THEN EXITED THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. IT THEN CAME TO REST ON LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY IN THE GRASS. THE AIRCRAFT SUFFERED MULTIPLE STRIKES ON THE BELLY FROM THE TAXIWAY SIGN. RIGHT GEAR AND THE GEAR DOOR SUFFERED A DIRECT HIT FROM THE TAXIWAY SIGNS. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE FOUR PERSONS ON BOARD THE AIRCRAFT. THE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT ITSELF WAS SUBSTANTIAL.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
