## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PIC STATED HE HAD FLOWN TO THE AIRPORT TO FINISH A FLIGHT REVIEW. ACCORDING TO THE PIC'S RECORDS HE STILL HAD A CURRENT FLIGHT REVIEW DATED SEPTEMBER 2009. THE PIC'S FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR WAS BEHIND SCHEDULE AND BECAUSE OF A LATER COMMITMENT THE PIC RESCHEDULED THE FLIGHT REVIEW AND WAS GOING TO FLY HOME.THE PIC SAID EVERYTHING SEEMED NORMAL WHEN HE BEGAN HIS TAKEOFF ROLL. AFTER ROTATION, ABOUT 3 – 5 FEET ABOVE THE GROUND, THE PIC SAID A GUST OF WIND PUSHED THE TAIL OF THE AIRCRAFT TO THE LEFT AND LIFTED THE RIGHT WING TURNING THE AIRCRAFT PERPENDICULAR TO THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT HIT THE RUNWAY COLLAPSING THE LEFT MAIN. THE LEFT WING TIP HAD MINOR DAMAGE AS A RESULT OF THE LEFT MAIN COLLAPSING. THE PROPELLER ALSO, STRUCK THE RUNWAY TEARING OFF A COUPLE OF INCHES OF THE BLADE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
