## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ANC11CA034](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ANC11CA034), May 18, 2011: Cessna 180J (N9951N), Kenai, AK, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control during the landing roll, resulting in a ground loop.

## Other reports on N9951N (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19800126015889I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19800126015889I), Jan 26, 1980: Cessna 180 (N9951N), Gulkana, AK, Minor damage. Airplane equipped with skis hit snowdrift while landing on lake. Left ski and gear leg sheared off.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
