## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 20, 2011, AT APPROXIMATELY 9:30 CDT, THE PILOT OF N2505R EXECUTED A LANDING TO RUNWAY 17R AT LUBBOCK PRESTON SMITH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KLBB). AFTER TOUCHDOWN THE CONTROL TOWER REQUESTED THE PILOT EXPEDITE THE EXIT OFF THE RUNWAY AND EXIT LEFT ON TAXIWAY SIERRA. THE PILOT STATED HE APPLIED MORE THAN USUAL BRAKING IN ORDER TO EXIT AT SIERRA. THE PILOT THEN TAXIED VIA TAXIWAY MIKE, PAST RUNWAY 8, AND TURNED LEFT ON JULIET. THE PILOT THEN SENSED THE LEFT TIRE MAY HAVE GONE FLAT, CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO PULL TO THE LEFT. HE EXITED TAXIWAY JULIET AND STOPPED ON THE RAMP WHEN HE NOTICED SMOKE FROM BOTH TIRES. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER EXITED THE AIRCRAFT AND CONTACTED THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT OR PASSENGER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
