## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED THAT THE AIRCRAFT BECAME AIRBORN AGAIN SHORTLY AFTER TOUCHDOWN. HE ESTIMATED TO BE ABOUT 5 FEET ABOVE THE GROUND AND ATTEMPTED A GO AROUND. THE ENGINE FAILED TO PRODUCE POWER WHEN THE THROTTLE WAS ADVANCED. THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED BACK ON THE RUNWAY HARD ENOUGH TO BEND THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR OUTWARD. THE AIRCRAFT THEN VEERED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. PILOT STATED THE ENGINE REMAINED AT IDLE AND WAS UNRESPONSIVE TO THROTTLE MOVEMENT AFTER COMING TO REST BESIDE THE RUNWAY BEFORE SHUTTING DOWN THE ENGINE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
