## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS LANDING RUNWAY 21 WITH A 5 KNOT HEAD WIND. A WITNESS REPORTED THE AIRCRAFT APPEARED TO STALL ABOUT 5 FEET ABOVE THE GROUND. THE AIRCRAFT TURNED RIGHT AS THE RIGHT WING IMPACTED THE GROUND. AS THE FUSELAGE HIT THE GROUND THE AIRCRAFT GROUND LOOPED TO THE RIGHT AND THEN LEFT AND LEFT WING HIT THE GROUND.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR11CA231](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR11CA231), May 22, 2011: Let L 33 Solo (N278BA), Sparks, NV, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain an adequate airspeed during landing, which resulted in an aerodynamic stall.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
