## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 5.28.2011 AT 09:40 CST, N551FL WAS ATTEMPTING TO LAND ON RWY 02 AT FALLS OF ROUGH, KY AIRPORT (K213). ACCORDING TO THE PILOT, THE WINDS WERE LIGHT AND THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED UPON LANDING. THE PILOT STATED HE APPLIED POWER TOO LATE AND THE AIRCRAFT SUBSEQUENTLY BOUNCED AGAIN AND THE NOSE LANDING GEAR FAILED. THE PROPELLOR CONTACTED THE RUNWAY AND THE NOSE LANDING GEAR SEPARATED FROM THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ON RUNWAY 02 AND THE TWO OCCUPANTS WERE UNINJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
