## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS SPRAYING WHEN HE HIT A POWERLINE AND KNOCKED IT DOWN. THE POWERLINE MISSED THE PROP, BUT HIT THE LANDING GEAR AND BEFORE IT BROKE IT KNOCKED THE FUEL SUMP/STRAINER DRAIN NIPPLE OFF. THE AIRCRAFT LOST ALL FUEL, THE ENGINE QUIT RUNNING, AND THE PILOT MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING ON A DIRT ROAD @ 3/4 MILE FROM THE POWERLINE AND @ 1.5 MILES FROM BASE. SHERIFF AND AIRCRAFT OWNER REPORTED NO STRUCTURAL DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT. PHOTOS RECEIVED FROM MALHEUR COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REVEALED NO SUBSTANTIAL STRUCTURAL DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
