## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE APPROACHING THE PATTERN FOR RUNWAY 26 AT CDB, PILOT DISTRACTED THE CREW BY POINTING OUT THE BOAT DOCK WHERE THEIR CARGO WAS BEING PREPARED. FLAPS WERE SELECTED TO 40 DEGREES ABOUT 1/2 MILE OUT. THE HORN THAT SOUNDS WHEN FLAPS ARE POSITIONED MORE THAN 30 DEGREES WITH GEAR UP DID NOT SOUND. PILOT DID NOT PERFORM FINAL CHECK AND LANDED WITHOUT EXTENDING THE LANDING GEAR.
