## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 12, 2011, AT APPROXIMATELY 1100 HOURS LOCAL TIME, THE PILOT OF N3380P, A MAULE MX-7-180C, WAS PRACTICING LANDINGS AT SOUTH COUNTY AIRPORT (E16). PER THE PILOT'S STATEMENT, HE WAS PRACTICING A 3 POINT LANDING, AND JUST AFTER TOUCHDOWN THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE LEFT OF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT STATED HE APPLIED FULL RIGHT RUDDER DEFLECTION BUT THE AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER AND THE PROPELLER AND SPINNER IMPACTED THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
