TOUCHDOWN WAS LONGER THAN NORMAL AND AIRCRAFT BOUNCED ABOUT FIVE TO TEN FEET IN THE AIR THAN CAME DOWN ON THE NOSE GEAR RESULTING IN THE LOWER LEG OF NOSE GEAR STRUT BREAKING OFF CAUSING THE PROPELLER TO STRIKE THE RUNWAY.
