## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS CONDUCTING TOUCH AND GOES AT KONZ AIRPORT, AND STATED THAT ON HIS 3RD LANDING HE ENCOUNTERED A GUST OF WIND THAT CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO BE BLOWN TOWARDS THE EDGE OF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT COULD NOT REACT QUICK ENOUGH TO CORRECT THE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL AND DEPARTED THE HARD SURFACE RUNWAY INTO THE GRASS. THE AIRCRAFT TRAVELED THROUGH THE GRASS WHEN IT BEGAN TRAVELING UP A BERM CAUSING THE LANDING GEAR TO COLLAPSE. THE PILOT SUFFERED MINOR INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
