As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT ABOUT 0800 LOCAL N38N, CESSNA DUKE A-60, LANDED AND PROCEDED TAXWAY L AND THE TOWER HAD JUST OPENED AND REPORTED HIS POSITION WAS ON TAXIWAY CHARLIE, WHEN IN FACT HE WAS ON LIMA. HE WAS INSTRUCTED BY THE TOWER TO GO TO POINT NINER WHICH WAS GROUND. AT ABOUT THE SAME TIME N484BD, COZY MARK IV HAD REQUESTED TAXI INSTRUCTIONS FROM GROUND CONTROL AND WAS GIVEN TAXI INSTRUCTIONS TO RUNWAY 10. THE CESSNA WAS WEST BOUND ON LIMA AND APPARENTLY DID NOT SEE THE COZY THAT WAS ENTERING THE TAIXWAY LIMA. THE LEFT PROPELLER OF THE DUKE STRUCK THE RIGHT WING FAIRING AND WING. ## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA11LA361](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA11LA361), Jun 26, 2011: Aliev Bulent Cozy Mark IV (N484BD), Pompano Beach, FL, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilots of both airplanes did not maintain adequate visual lookout during taxi, which resulted in an on-ground collision.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System.
