## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT LANDED ON RUNWAY 27 AT EAST KANSAS CITY AIRPORT (3GV), LOCATED IN GRAIN VALLEY, MISSOURI. UPON LANDING, THE AIRCRAFT'S LEFT WHEEL WENT OFF THE RUNWAY INTO THE GRASS. WHEN THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE RUNWAY SURFACE, THE STEERING INPUTS CAUSED THE LEFT WING TO RISE AND CAUSED THE RIGHT WING TIP TO CONTACT THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT WENT INTO AN ABRUPT TURN AND THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ON THE RUNWAY AT AN ANGLE APPROXIMATELY 90 DEGREES TO THE CENTERLINE OF RUNWAY 27.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
