DURING EMERGENCY LANDING ON THE WET GRASS STRIP, THE PILOT, WHILE ATTEMPTING TO AVOID THE ROADWAY AT THE NORTH END, ELECTED TO INITIATE A GROUND SLIDE BY MAKING A SHARP TURN WHEN THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK A FENCE POST WITH THE LEFT WING, RESULTING IN SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE WING AND AIRCRAFT. ## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
