## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT WAS LANDING ON RUNWAY 36 AT BOLIVAR MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (M17), BOLIVAR, MISSOURI. AS THE AIRCRAFT FLARED AND JUST BEFORE TOUCH DOWN, A DEER RAN IN FRONT OF THE AIRCRAFT AND WAS HIT BY THE PROPELLER AND THE LEFT WING. THE ENGINE WAS AT IDLE RPM WHEN THE PROPELLER HIT THE DEER. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED AND CAME TO A STOP WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. THERE WAS NO OPPORTUNITY TO AVOID STRIKING THE DEER.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
