## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ABOUT 1320 ON 22 JULY 2011 N47DU LANDED AT JZI AIRPORT. WHILE ON THE ROLL OUT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, THE PILOT, REACHED OVER TO RAISE THE FLAPS, AND AT EXACTLY THAT MOMENT, A VERY STRONG CROSSWIND CAUGHT THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT LURCHED SIDEWAYS AND ACTUALLY FORWARD SOME. THE AIRCRAFT ROCKED BACK AND FORTH AND PITCHED FORWARD UNTIL THE PROP STRUCK THE RUNWAY. THIS CAUSED THE PLANE TO BOUNCE BACK AND THE PILOT REGAINED CONTROL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
