## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE APPLYING FUNGICIDE PRODUCT ON A FIELD, PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, HOLDER OF COMMERCIAL CERTIFICATE NUMBER ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, STRUCK AN ELEVATED ELECTRICAL WIRE WITH MAIN LANDING GEAR. PILOT WAS UNINJURED AND THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO BASE AND REPORTED THE WIRE STRIKE.THE PILOT SAID HE WAS HEADED EAST WHILE SPRAYING AND HAD THE SUN IN HIS EYES AND DID NOT SEE THE WIRE, WHICH BROKE AFTER BEING STRUCK.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
