## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

A WITNESS DESCRIBED THE FLIGHT PATH ON FINAL TO LANDING AS AN AIRCRAFT STALLING, DIPPING TO RECOVER, AND THEN STALLING AGAIN, REPEATING SEVERAL TIMES, WITH THE AIRCRAFT EVENTUALLY IMPACTING THE GROUND AND FLIPPING ONTO ITS BACK. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST APPROXIMATELY 100 YARDS BEYOND THE (NORTH) END OF THE RUNWAY. PILOT AND ONE PASSENGER WERE THE ONLY OCCUPANTS ON BOARD. BOTH SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES. THERE WAS SUSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO A/C, AND WEATHER WAS NOT A FACTOR.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN11LA575](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN11LA575), Aug 14, 2011: Cessna 150H (N6953S), Sabetha, KS, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain adequate airspeed, which resulted in a stall. Contributing to the accident was the pilot's lack of certification to act as a pilot and his lack of recent experience.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
