## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING LANDING ON RUNWAY 35, A NUMBER OF CRANES FLEW ACROSS THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT DROPPED THE NOSE TO AVOID HITTING BIRDS. HE LANDED HARD WITH THE NOSE OF AIRCRAFT POINTED TO THE RIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED RUNWAY 35 INTO THE TALL GRASS. THE PILOT ADDED POWER IN AN ATTEMPT TO GO AROUND. THE AIRCRAFT FLEW A SHORT DISTANCE AND CAME BACK DOWN, IT CONTINUED THROUGH THE GRASS UNTIL IT BEGAN TO CROSS RUNWAY 30, AT THIS POINT IT BEGAN TO FLY AGAIN. THE PILOT TRIED TO BANK LEFT TO AVOID A TREE LINE. DURING BANK THE LEFT FLOAT HIT THE GROUND, TOSSING THE AIRCRAFT TO THE RIGHT, THE RIGHT FLOAT HIT AND THE NOSE WHEEL DEPARTED THE AIRCRAFT, THE RIGHT WING ALSO STRUCK THE GROUND WHICH TORE THE TIP TANK FROM THE WING. THE AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER, FLIPPED AND CAME TO REST UPSIDE DOWN FACING SOUTH WEST.
