## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT REPORTED WHILE TRANSITIONING FROM LANDING TO TAXI A 22MPH GUST OF WIND HIT THE AIRCRAFT CAUSING PLANE TO TURN LEFT IN A SLOW MOTION. PILOT HAD APPLIED FULL RIGHT RUDDER AND SOME BRAKES BUT INDICATED HE COULD NOT STOP IT. THE AIRCRAFT WENT INTO A DEEP DITCH (ESTIMATED 5 FT) NEXT TO THE RUNWAY. ACCORDING TO THE PILOT STATEMENT AIRCRAFT SUFFERED DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, RIGHT HAND LANDING, RIGHT HAND WING TI AND RIGHT HAND ELEVATOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
