## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 08/23/2011, RECEIVED NOTICE OF AN AIRCRAFT INCIDENT INVOLVING AN AT-502B, N41854. ARRIVING ON SCENE APPROXIMATELY 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GRAND ISLAND AIRPORT (GRI), WHILE RETURNING TO THE PRIVATE BASE AT PROSSER NEBRASKA, AFTER COMPLETING AN AGRICULTURE OPERATION, THE PILOT EXPERIENCED AN ENGINE FLAMEOUT AND FORCED LANDING INTO A MATURE CORN FIELD. INITIAL INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED ONLY MINOR DAMAGE, WHICH CONSISTED OF THE R/H NAV LIGHT ASSEMBLY BEING DAMAGED. THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED DURING THIS INCIDENT.NTSB WAS NOTIFIED AND RESPONDED WITH NO NOTIFICATION NEEDED PER AIRCRAFT INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
