## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

FIRST SOLO AFTER SUPERVISED SOLO. AIRSPEED ON FINAL APPROACH WAS ABOUT 82 KNOTS, ON SHORT FINAL, WINDSOCK SHOWED A SLIGHT TAIL WIND.SOME FLOATING OCCURRED BEFORE TOUCHDOWN PAST THE 1000 FOOT MARKERS. THE STUDENT LANDED ON RUNWAY 27, AND STARTED BRAKING TO MAKE FIRST TAXIWAY . AT THAT POINT STUDENT FELT SOME VIBRATION AND SLIGHT LEFT TURNING TENDENCY.STUDENT PILOT DECIDED TO TAKE NEXT TAXIWAY, LET OFF THE BRAKES AND CONTINUED TAXIING. WHEN HE PRESSED BRAKES AGAIN HE HEARD A BANG, AT WHICH TIME THE TIRE WAS BLOWN. ALTHOUGH STUDENT PILOT HAD NEAR FULL RIGHT RUDDER IN, THE AIRCRAFT STILL TURNED TO THE LEFT. AFTER THE TIRE BLOWING, THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED TO THE SIDE BEFORE TURNING LEFT OFF THE RUNWAY. THE STUDENT SAYS HIS FEET WERE NOT ON THE BRAKES DURING LANDING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
