## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING CRUISE FLIGHT, SECOND IN COMMAND PILOT WAS "RESTING" AND HAD A SEIZURE.AFTER APPROXIMATELY FIVE MINUTES, WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF A PASSENGER, HE WAS MOVED TO THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT SEAT. PILOT IN COMMAND DECLARED A MEDICAL EMERGENCY AND CONTINUED THE FLIGHT TO ANCHORAGE, WHERE HE SAFELY LANDED THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT INVOLVED IN THE MEDICAL SITUATION WAS TAKEN BY AMBULANCE TO A LOCAL HOSPITAL.THERE IS AN EIR AGAINST THE PILOT FOR CARELESS OPERATION (HE ALLOWED THE SIC, A REQUIRED CREW MEMBER, TO REST). THE EIR IS NOT GERMANE TO THIS REPORT, IT IS A SEPERATE ISSUE.ATQA DOES NOT ALLOW THE ENTRY OF THE NTSB ID: ANC 11 NA 088. THE CHOICE "N" IS NOT AVAILABLE AS A SELECTION. REPORTED TO ATQA HELP DESK ON 8/31/2011. ACCORDING TO ATQA HELP DESK, THE SELECTION WILL BE AVAILABLE BY THE END OF SEPTEMBER, 2011. THIS REPORT WILL BE AMENDED WHEN THE "N" CODE IS AVAILABLE FOR THE NTSB REPORT NUMBER.10/03/2011: ENTERED NTSB REPORT NUMBER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
