## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2011, AT 2317 UTC, A STINSON L-5 BEARING REGISTRATION NUMBER N48083, BLEW A TIRE UPONG LANDING AND SKIDDED OFF RUNWAY 12 TO THE SOUTHWEST OF THE RUNWAY. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME, AND A VFR FLIGHT PLAN WAS NOT FILED. THERE WAS ONE PASSENGER AND NIETHER THE PILOT OR THE PASSENGER WERE INJURED. DAMAGE CONSISTED OF A RIGHT BLOWN TIRE INNER TUBE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
