## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON SEPT 17, 2011, APPROX 1425, N9637X WAS COMING IN FOR FINAL APPROACH ON RUNWAY 36 AT 2M8. THE PILOT LOWERED THE GEAR AND HAD A GREEN LIGHT, WHICH INDICATED THAT THE GEAR WAS DOWN AND LOCKED. THE PILOT DID A VISUAL CHECK OF THE GEAR, VERIFING THAT ALL THREE (NOSE AND TWO MAIN) WERE DOWN. UPON TOUCHDOWN, THE PILOT GENTLY APPLIED THE BRAKES. THE PILOT THEN APPLED MODERATE BRAKING TO MAKE THE MID-FIELD TAXIWAY. AS THE PILOT APPLIED MORE BRAKING, THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED SLOWLY. THE AIRCRAFT SLID DOWN THE RUNWAY FOR APPROX 250-300 FT BEFORE COMING TO A FULL STOP ON THE RUNWAY. UPON STOPPING, THE PILOT SECURED THE COCKPIT AND EVACUATED HIS PASSENGERS. IN THE COURSE OF THE SLIDING DOWN THE RUNWAY, THE PROPELLER AND NLG DOORS WERE DAMAGED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
