## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING APPROACH TO JQF THE LANDING GEAR WAS SELECTED DOWN. A LOUD POP WAS HEARD WHEN THE GEAR STARTED DOWN. THE MAIN GEAR HAD GREEN LIGHTS AND THE NOSE DID NOT. VERIFIED NOSE GEAR LIGHT BULB FOR OPERATION. RECYCLED GEAR FOUR TIMES AND THEN FLEW PAST THE TOWER AT JQF. THE TOWER REPORTED TO THE PILOT THE NOSE GEAR WAS TRAILING AT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE AND THE MAINS APPEARED TO BE DOWN. A SOFT FIELD LANDING WAS EXECUTED AND DURING ROLL OUT THE NOSE GEAR FOLDED AND THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP WITHOUT INCIDENT. NO INJURIES WERE INCURRED BY THE 3 POB. THE NOSE GEAR WAS PULLED DOWN TO THE LOCKED POSITION AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS TOWED OFF RUNWAY PER NTSB INSPECTOR ALLEYNE DUE TO HIGH AIR TRAFFIC CAUSED BY A LOCAL SPORTING EVENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
