## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON SEPTEMBER 23, 2011 @ 18:55, THE PILOT OF AN AERO COMMANDER, N1021J, OWNED BY MULITIPLE INDIVIDUAL PARTNERS MADE AN OFF AIRPORT EMERGENCY LANDING DUE TO AN INFLIGHT ENGINE SHUTDOWN. HE WAS APPROXIMATLY TWO MILES EAST OF ELLINGTON AIRPORT AND ABOUT 1 MILE SOUTH OF 5200 GENO RED BLUFF RD IN PASADENA, TX. HE LANDED FROM THE SOUTHWEST TO THE NORTHEAST IN AN OPEN FIELD. THE PILOT WAS THE ONLY PERSON ON BOARD. NO INJURIES AND NO DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
