## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT HAD NOT OBTAINED A WEATHER BRIEF OR PERFORMED ANY PRE-FLIGHT PLANNING. PILOT IS SERIOUSLY CONFUSED AND DENIES HAVING FLOWN INTO THE KEAU AIRPORT EARLIER THAT DAY. DID NOT REMEMBER ANY AIRPORTS WHERE HE HAD BEEN. EXPERIENCED A GENERATOR FAILURE SOMETIME AFTER LANDING AT HIS THIRD AIRPORT. COULD NOT LOCATE ANY AIRPORT AFTER OVER AN HOUR OF FLIGHT. HE HAD JUST BEEN TO RICE LAKE AIRPORT AND HAD BEEN AT THE KEAU AIRPORT EARLIER THAT AFTERNOON. HE ELECTED TO LAND ON A ROAD 2 MILES FROM KEAU AIRPORT AT WHICH TIME AIRCRAFT WAS SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED.
