## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR, WHO WAS ACTING AS PILOT IN COMMAND, STATED THAT AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT THEY WERE PLANNING A NO FLAP STOP AND GO. PRIOR TO FINAL APPROACH, THE TOWER TOLD THEM THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO LAND DUE TO CONFLICTING TRAFFIC. THEY WERE CLEARED TO CONDUCT A LOW PASS ONLY. MOMENTS LATER, AND WHILE ON SHORT FINAL, THE TOWER INFORMED THEM THE CONFLICTING FLIGHT WOULD SIDE STEP TO ANOTHER LANDING AREA AND THEN CLEARED THEM TO STOP AND GO. THE CFI PIC AND HER STUDENT FAILED TO CHECK AND ENSURE THE GEAR WAS DOWN AND LOCKED FOR LANDING. THE AIRCRAFT SUBSEQUENTLY LANDED GEAR UP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
