## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON DECEMBER 5, 2011, APPROXIMATELY 1221 HRS LOCAL TIME, A PIPER MODEL PA-23-250 WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER N2589Z AND PILOTED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, UPON LANDING ON RUNWAY 28 AND AFTER 400 TO 500 FEET ROLE OUT AND DECRESING THE SPEED THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSE, DRAGGING TO A STOP BETWEEN TAXIWAYS D AND C. THIS INCIDENT RESULTED IN DAMAGE TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE NOSE SECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT. AIRCRAFT HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM SERVICE DUE TO DAMAGE. STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION TO SEE WHAT CAUSED NOSE GEAR COLLAPES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
