## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER LANDING ON RUNWAY 36 AT LANSING MUNI. PILOT INTENDED TO RETRACT THE FLAPS DUE TO GUSTY CONDITIONS AND MISTAKENLY RETRACTED THE LANDING GEAR. THE PILOT RETURNED THE LANDING GEAR LEVER TO THE DOWN POSITION AND APPLIED FULL POWER TO ATTEMPT A TAKEOFF BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. AIRCRAFT SKIDDED TO A STOP APPROXIMATELY HALF WAY DOWN THE RUNWAY WITHOUT HITING ANYTHING ELSE. THE DAMAGE APPEARED TO BE MINOR AT THAT TIME BUT THE AIRCRAFT WAS FURTHER DAMAGED DURING THE RECOVERY EFFORTS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
