## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRMAN WAS PARTICIPATING IN THE "YOUNG EAGLES" PROGRAM, DONATING AIRPLANE RIDES IN HIS CJ-6. AIRMAN ADVISES THAT HE COUNSELS HIS PASSENGERS ABOUT HOW TO OPERATE THE BRAKES AND ALSO NOT TO TOUCH THE RED SWITCH, LOCATED ON THE CONTROL STICK. AFTER ENGINE START, HE ASKED HIS PASSENGER TO TEST HIS BRAKES. THE PASSENGER SUBSEQUENTLY HIT THE SWITCH ON THE CONTROL STICK WHICH RELEASES ALL HYDRAULIC AND AIR PRESSURE. THIS INDUCED A LOSS OF CONTROL AND BRAKING. (AIR BRAKES ARE INSTALLED ON THIS A/C)THE AIRMAN CUT THE MIXTURE AND SHORTLY THEREAFTER IMPACTED A CEMENT WALL. NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED.THE PROPELLER IS DESTROYED, AND MINOR DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT WINGTIP, AND RIGHT SIDE OF BOTTOM COWLING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
