## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER TAKEOFF ROTATION, THE FORWARD LEFT CARGO DOOR OPENED. THE AIRCRAFT YAWED TO THE RIGHT AND BEGAN TO SLOW. AT THIS POINT THE LANDING GEAR WAS ALREADY SELECTED TO THE UP POISTION. THE PILOT DECIDED TO LAND STRAIRGHT AHEAD. THE PILOT REDUCED POWER, LOWERED THE NOSE, SELECTED GEAR DOWN AND FLARED. THE GEAR DID NOT FULLY EXTEND.TWO POINTS OF CONTACT WERE HEARD WITH THE GROUND. POWER WAS APPLIED AND A GO AROUND WAS INITIATED. THE LANDING GEAR HAD NOT FULLY EXTENDED AND THE AIRCRAFT MADE GROUND CONTACT WITH THE INNER GEAR DOORS AND ALL THE PROPELLER BLADES. THE AIRCRAFT SEEMED TO PERFORM NORMALLY AND THE PILOT RETURNED AND LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.THE PILOT STATED THAT HE WAS IN A HURRY BECAUSE OF THE RAIN. HE DID NOT ENSURE THAT THE FORWARD CARGO DOOR LATCHES WERE SECURE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
