## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT PULLED THE AIRCRAFT OUT OF HIS HANGAR FOR A FLIGHT TO FRIDAY HARBOR (FHR). WITH HIS WIFE ONBOARD HE ATTEMPTED TO START THE AIRCRAFT BUT THE BATTERY WAS DEAD. THE PILOT ELECTED TO HAND PROP THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE HAD SET THE HAND BRAKE, BUT MAY HAVE HAD A BIT TO MUCH THROTTLE, AS THE AIRCRAFT STARTED TO ROLL FORWARD. THE PILOT STATED THAT HIS WIFE GRABBED THE BRAKE WHICH RLEASED THE BRAKES. THE AIRCRAFT STARTED TO GAIN SPEED, AS THE WIFE WAS ABLE TO STEER THE AIRCRAFT DOWN THE TAXI WAY. DURING TAXI, THE WIFE PANICKED AND ADDED MORE THROTTLE AND WAS UNABLE TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT WENT THRU A FENCE AND IMPACTED SOME OLD LOGGING EQUIPMENT. THE PILOT STATED THE WIFE HAD LOTS OF TIME FLYING WITH HIM IN THE AIRCRAFT AND THOUGHT SHE WAS FAMILAR WITH IT'S CONTROLS.
