## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE STUDENT PILOT APPROACHED TO LAND WITH EXCESSIVE AIRSPEED AND MADE AN ATTEMPT TO FORCE THE AIRCRAFT TO LAND BEFORE THE SPEED WAS APPROPRIATELY REDUCED. AS A RESULT, THE AIRCRAFTS CONTACT WITH THE GROUND CAUSED IT TO BOUNCE BACK INTO THE AIR. THE STUDENT PILOT ATTEMPTED TO STABILIZE THE AIRCRAFT, HOWEVER APPLIED EXCESSIVE CONTROL INPUTS RESULTING IN PILOT INDUCED OSCILLATIONS ABOUT THE LATERAL AXIS. THE OSCILLATIONS SUBSIDED AS THE AIRCRAFT SPEED WAS REDUCED. THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED STRUCTURAL DAMAGE.
