## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING CRUISE FLIGHT AT FL 360 GOT EICAS " L HYD QTY " MESSAGE LEFT SYSTEM QUANTITY READ .48, AND "RSVR" LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON. HYDRAULIC OVERHEAD PANEL. LEFT SYSTEM QUANTITY WAS DECREASEING .01 EVERY FEW SECONDS, LOWERED GEAR WITH QUANTITY READING ABOUT .25. GOT INTERMITTENT "L HYD ENG PUMP" MESSAGE. BROUGHT FLAPS TO 20 AND LEFT QUANTITY DECREASED TO AROUND .22 AND HELD STEADY. "L HYD ENG PUMP" THEN ILLUMINATED STEADY AND WE TURNED OFF THE LEFT ENGINE HYDR. PUMP. SPOILERS, REVERSERS, BRAKES AND NOSE WHEEL STEERING WORKED NORMALLY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
