## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FEBRUARY 27, 2012, APPROXIMATELY 1700 EDT, A PIPER PA46-500TP REGISTERED TO MICKEY MEENKINS FARM EQUIPMENT CO INC., ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, LUMBERTON NC 28358 WAS PILOTED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ UPON LANDING AT LUMBERTON AIRPORT (KLBT) THE PILOT EXPERIENCED A NOSE WHEEL SHIMMY AND THE AIRCRAFT PULLED TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY BEFORE COMING TO A STOP. POST FLIGHT INSPECTION REVEALED THE BOLT THAT CONNECTS THE UPPER AND LOWER NOSE LANDING GEAR TORQUE LINKS WAS MISSING AND THE NOSE GEAR WAS TURNED 90 DEGREES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
