## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE TAXING THE AIRCRAFT INTO THE PARKING SPOT, THE STUDENT PILOT DROPPED HIS CHECKLIST. HE STOPPED THE AIRCRAFT TO RETRIEVE THE CHECKLIST. WHILE BENDING DOWN TO GET THE CHECK LIST, HE INADVERTENTLY RELEASED PRESSURE ON THE BRAKES AND THE AIRCRAFT MOVED FORWARD STRIKING THE LEFT WING OF ANOTHER AIRCRAFT.DAMAGE TO BOTH AIRCRAFT IS CONSIDERED MINOR.

## Other aircraft in the event

- N5329P, Piper PA-24-250: no report for this aircraft; [N5329P](https://openairdocs.org/aircraft/N5329P) is registered now

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
