## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MARCH 10, 2012, AT 1730 CST, A PIPER J-3 CUB REGISTERED TO ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL DURING LANDING ROLLOUT AT ARKAVALLEY AIRPORT (12A) WHILE ON A PLEASURE FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME AND A VFR FLIGHT PLAN WAS NOT FILED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AND NEITHER THE PRIVATE PILOT NOR HIS PASSENGER WERE INJURED. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT ARKAVALLEY AIRPORT ON MARCH 10 AT 1600 CST.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
