## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS STARTING TAKEOFF ROLL AND WAS ACCELERATING THROUGH APPROXIMATELY 50-60 KNOTS WHEN THE PILOT SAW A FLASH OUT THE LEFT WINDOW AND FELT A THUMP UNDER THE AIRCRAFT. PILOT ABORTED THE T/O AND TAXIIED BACK TO PARKING RAMP. AFTER HE SHUTDOWN HE DISCOVERED THAT HE HAD STRUCK A DEER. DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT CONSISTED OF A MINOR DENT TO LEADING EDGE OF LEFT WING AND THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR DOOR WAS ALMOST TORE FREE FROM THE AIRCRAFT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES (OTHER THEN THE DEER) AND NO OTHER DAMAGE WAS NOTICED THROUGH ON-SCENE INSPECTION. CASE CLOSED WITH NO FUTHER ACTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
